Goal

The goal of the camp is to give the participants an insight on how VC and professional investors are structured and what metrics/models that makes up the fundamentals of VC investments. We look at different types of investors in different phases and end the lecture part of the training camp with a view of the key components of an investable company. Sustainability and its role in relation to the VC industry will also be included in the training camp.

Thomas Unt

Thomas has multi-silo competencies for finance, life Science, retail, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry combined with extensive experience in entrepreneurial development projects with responsibility for venture capital acquisition, IPO, and corporate structure. Prior to joining SmiLe, he was CEO and COO for several startups within Finance and Life science. 

Other colleagues from the SmiLe team will support the implementation of the training camp.

Prerequisites for Joining

Only for startups enrolled in Life Science Academy for Startups.

Participants should have completed the Strategy & Business Model Level 1 Training Camp or possess equivalent competence, including a developed initial strategy and Business Model Canvas for their life science product/service.
